4 Pillars

These four pillars are represented not just in the main services or in the leadership, but in the fabric of everything we do as a Church.

Unapologetic Preaching

Proclaiming the authority of God’s Word without apology.

2 Timothy 4:2

This doesn’t mean angry, red-faced, pulpit-pounding preaching. However, we are passionate about what God’s Word says. We don’t spend a lot of time thinking about what you WANT to hear, but we do spend a lot of time thinking about what GOD wants said.

Unashamed Adoration

Lifting high the name of Jesus through worship.

John 4:24

HE IS GOD! He deserves our most passionate, fervent adoration. So every weekend we have a pretty fired up worship service. The music and the testimonies of God at work are planned to inspire a passionate expression of worship to the Triune God: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Unceasing Prayer

Believing firmly in the power of prayer.

Ephesians 6:18

Behind the scenes each and every week at Redemption are many, many hours of prayer. We follow the invitation that God gave in Jeremiah 33:3 – “Call to me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you did not know.”

Unafraid Witness

Sharing the good news of Jesus with boldness.

Ephesians 6:19-20

Redemption isn’t subtle, sneaky, or secretive. We believe the greatest news anyone could ever hear is the gospel of Jesus Christ. So we want to tell everyone straight up, as clearly as we can, about how God has made Himself known, has made a way for sins to be covered, and is offering eternal life to any who will believe.

We fully affirm and are seeking to practice the following six distinctives of a biblically healthy church:

Expository and applicational.

2 Timothy 4:1-5, Hebrews 4:12, 1 Corinthians 2:1-5

Fervent Prayer

Courageous Evangelism

Word and deed.

Matthew 9:36-38, Romans 1:16, Ephesians 6:19-20,
Romans 15:20

Purposeful Disciple-Making

Intentional and in community.

Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 4:11-16, Acts 2:42-47, Romans 12:3-8

Matthew 16:18b, Acts 11:19-30, Acts 20:17-35, Titus 1:5-9
