Sermon Notes – June 29, 2025

Title: Multiply
Text: Acts 13

Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Acts 1:8 – But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Acts 2:46-47 – And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Acts 6:7 – And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem . . .

Acts 12:24 – But the word of God increased and multiplied.

Acts 16:5 – So, the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily.

Acts 19:20 – So, the word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily.

Acts 28:31 – proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.

1. Willingness: to set apart and send out (even our best) 13:1-4
2. Conviction: the proclamation of the word of God changes lives, 13:4-43
3. Expectation: the good news of Jesus will be opposed, 13:44-46
4. Perspective: rejoicing over what is truly important, 13:47-52
