About Jake

In 2004, I had the privilege of being invited to speak at what was then known as Gospel Fellowship Chapel. Later that year I was invited to come serve as interim pastor. After serving as interim pastor from 2005 through 2007, God in his kindness opened the door for me to serve as Senior pastor in 2008 where the Lord still has me today. This journey truly has not been mine alone, but a journey we as a church have been on together as God continues to shape, mold, and lead us for His name’s sake.

My wife Marcia and I have been married since 1995 and our ever-gracious Father in Heaven has graced us with a son and a daughter, and now a son-in-law as well. Before being called to the pastorate, I worked in the manufacturing industry for 20 years that served as the formative years and help for ministry.

Through a series of events in 2002, the Lord used Galatians 2:20 as a comfort, strength, and motivation for me at that time, and continues to this day…

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
