About Thomas
I met my wife Kristin while I was pursuing my Bachelor of Education (she’s a certified teacher too), and we were married in 2015. When God made it clear around that time that He wanted me to move towards pastoral ministry instead, I—with Kristin’s irreplaceable support and care—started studying at Heritage Bible College & Seminary, where I earned a Master of Divinity. Along the way, God blessed us with two awesome children: James (age 3) and Aria (age 1). Having called this area (Talbotville, Aylmer, and now St. Thomas) home for my entire life, I’m incredibly blessed to get to serve God here at Redemption!
I’m passionate about helping people grow in having a personal and authentic relationship with God, understanding and enjoying His Word, loving and being loved by His people, and joining His great mission to show His glory to the world. Some of my other interests include basketball, the Legend of Zelda, Walt Disney World, reading in bed, and bacon.
One of the Bible verses that inspires and challenges me the most is Paul’s statement in 2 Corinthians 12:15 that he “will most gladly spend and be spent for [other people’s] souls.” That’s what Jesus did for me, and that’s what I want to do for others!
